What I Wore | Blue Moon

WhatIWore: This. Dress. Is. The. Best! I don’t think I’ve felt more beautiful in anything in a long time! My initial draw to it was the V cut on the back of the dress (I was looking for pieces to show off my bee). When I tried it on, I thought it might be a little more darling (and a little less daring) if I added a lace knit cami underneath which unfortunately covered up the back too. No matter, it’s still a beaut! I just love the cut and the fabric and the skirt and the color and… everything! Wouldn’t this make for a beautiful bridesmaid dress she could actually wear later?

What I Wore | Purple Vintage

WhatIWore: Gooooood morning! Just slowly getting back into the swing of things in our world after a long beautiful weekend at the lake. Lots of photos to come this week, including a morning spent inside a couple of bee hives, tracking down the queen and generally checking out the health of the group. 

I’m really enjoying being able to wear more of my older pieces, including a lot of vintage dresses that were set aside during last summer’s pregnancy. I’ve worn this dress a lot in the past and at this point, I don’t do much to try and switch it up or make it different. It’s fine on it’s own!

What I Wore | Stripes and Floral

WhatIWore: Of all the pretty pattern mixing a gal (or guy!) can do these days, stripes and floral are probably my favorite. A two colored stripe can work with so many different kinds of prints, but I’m a sucker for flowers. I like the way this combo came together, although I think I need to alter the skirt to fit a little better. How do you rock pattern mixing most?

What I Wore | Memorial Day Weekend

WhatIWore: Good morning everyone! Hope you all had a nice weekend - we had such a great time here at home. My inlaws came for our annual yard work weekend when we plant our window box, spruce up the patio and put down mulch.  We also decided to update our 60 year old storm door and re-paint our front door a pretty shade of navy blue. We worked really hard so afterwards we all enjoyed a much needed meal out and this is what I wore. I love summer nights when you go out with semi-wet hair and a knit dress.
